How to be healthy while playing videogames?

Computer Syndrome

This syndrome is very common in people who spend a lot of time sitting in front of the computer. The consequences are some ailments that cannot always be solved in an easy way.

They happen when spending long time with your games on the computer, usually present back pain. Ideally, you should use a chair with a backrest large enough to cover your entire spine.

Every 15 minutes, stretch and change your position so that the vertebrae move. Keep your back straight and your head relaxed.

If the problem is in your eyes

Spending a lot of time on your computer games can lead to blurred vision, dry and irritated eyes, eyestrain and so on.

To improve these conditions, use artificial tears as soon as you feel eye discomfort. Place your monitor in a position that gives it good light, and at the same time prevents other objects or lights from reflecting on it.

The distance between your eyes and the monitor should be a minimum of 40 cm and a maximum of 70 cm. Every 30 minutes, clear your eyes and look away from the computer game.

Hands and wrists, the most common of all evils

Because you make incorrect movements, your hands and wrists suffer from inflammation of some nerves. To lessen this discomfort, remove your hand from the mouse from time to time and stretch it out. It is important to use mouse with pads that allow you to support your wrist. In addition, it should be at elbow level so that no part of your arm is forced.
